Find out what attendees actually do at your event — and what that means.

Attendee behavior analytics and insights, fueled by new RFID and NFC solutions. Kinective connects onsite behavior with your other eShow registration, session, and exhibit data — then points you toward what's worth acting on.

If RFID has disappointed you before, you're not wrong.

RFID has been sold to event organizers for years, and it has mostly underdelivered. Three reasons come up again and again.

ENABLEMENT — It was expensive and it slowed you down. Between logistics, installation, and the manual work of associating each badge with each attendee, RFID added cost at the front end and a bottleneck at badge pickup.

COLLECTION — It couldn’t see anything else. Bolt-on RFID tools don’t have access to your registration, session, or exhibit data. So the movement data arrived with no context, and making it meaningful took significant work well after the event was over.

INSIGHTS — And then nothing happened with it. Organizers ended up with a pile of reads, no time to decode them, and a report that arrived too late to matter.

We rebuilt around all three.

How we solved it.

01 · Enablement

No extra step. No slowdown.

The RFID and NFC chip is built directly into the badge and matched to the attendee record automatically as it prints. There’s no separate activation table and no second scan. With Express Check-In or Express Entry kiosks, attendees can have their badge in hand in as little as five seconds.

Attendees who prefer not to be tracked individually can decline the association at check-in, and their badge activity is reported anonymously.

02 · Collection

Three signals, kept distinct.

RFID captures passive presence and movement — room entry and exit, dwell time, floor traffic, zone-to-zone paths. No action required from the attendee.

NFC captures intentional engagement — the moments an attendee deliberately taps to request information, join a sponsor activation, or complete an evaluation.

Lead Retrieval captures consented exchanges — the attendee agreeing to have their badge scanned at a booth.

Presence isn’t the same as intent, and Kinective never treats them as the same thing. A deduplication engine filters thousands of overlapping reads into clean, countable visits.

03 · Insights

Answers, not a data dump.

Because your badge activity lives on the same platform and database as registration, sessions, exhibits, and sponsorship, Kinective has the context to do more than chart reads. It reads across the full picture, flags the patterns most worth your attention, and suggests specific actions to consider next.

The insight arrives as a conclusion — “this room was over capacity every morning” — not a spreadsheet you have to interpret.

See your whole event in one place.

Most of what organizers know about their events comes from scan reports and a survey a fraction of attendees complete. Kinective works from what attendees actually did — which means it can answer questions you’ve never been able to put a number to.

Intent vs. behavior — Which exhibitors did attendees plan to visit, and which did they actually reach? Where did intentions and behavior diverge?
Example: four in ten exhibitors attendees favorited in the app were never visited.

Revenue defense — How much booth traffic left without a lead ever being captured? What did your exhibitors pay for and never learn about?
Example: at one booth, 81% of visitors left with no badge scan.

Content strategy — Which sessions filled past capacity, and which lost the room before they ended? What should you expand, move, or rethink?
Example: one session filled an 80-seat room past capacity while another lost half the room early.

In case I haven’t mentioned this before, we really like Eshow. Everything is very simple to learn and intuitive. That’s really important for us. We appreciate the assistance but also like that we have access to make some adjustments as needed on our own.

The functionality, capability and integration with CRM is second to none. Tthe staff worked hard to accommodate our needs and made it happen. The autonomy this software provides to exhibitors and attendees really freed up my time to focus on other aspects of my job.

It's great to have all of our meeting needs under 1 platform with 1 login. The eShow platform is also robust and can meet all/most of your needs with the platform they currently have. We also appreciate there is support readily available when you need assistance or to setup a module and also they offer registration support onsite, as well.
